Yesterday morning marked the first occasion for Llangynwyd Rangers, our U13's girls played their first game of the season at our home venue the Llan Siro. This is history for the club as we have never held a girls league game at our venue.
The day was amazing with may people turning up to watch, the atmosphere the supporters created was amazing and encouraged our girls to go onto the field in such a positive vibe, they showed us all how to play football with a smile on their faces. The game was very tense and we ended with a 4-0 win.
As a club we would like to thank the coaches for all their dedication and hard work and also to the parents for supporting the club. The girls next game is away next weekend and we wish them all the best for this.
We also hosted our U11's friendly games at home seeing a 4-0 win and a 1-1 draw. Well done to all who played and for showing such determination towards the game. Also thank you to all who came to support. It was lovely to see some of the older girls staying to support the younger age groups.
Our U8/9's played away at Baglan and played their games with confidence and a smile. Well done girls.
As a club it is with great pleasure that we can offer football to girls and boys. But we are still looking for more volunteers to help us and so that the opportunities are available for more children. If you would like to help out in any way please let us know.
