We are very proud to announce that our amazing club has achieved the Highest FAW Accreditation Status of Platinum for the upcoming 2020/21 Season, building on the Gold Award status we achieved last season.
Despite Covid-19 trying its best to rip apart our daily lives and hit our communities and football hard, we are proud of the ongoing commitment, support, generosity and loyalty of our Llan Rangers football family, without whom we would not have been able to reach such a prestigious FAW accolade.
The award is the most coveted of standard marks issued by the FAW.
Each year thousands of clubs across Wales strive to attain platinum, gold, silver, bronze or Standard level accreditation.
The off the pitch criteria includes club management, workforce, policies and procedures and insurance while clubs must also attain high standards in equipment and facilities and player and coach development.
The platinum award is handed out only to a handful of football clubs each year, with less than 15 clubs obtaining the award last season.
The award demonstrates the progress the club has made over the past 12 months and underlines the club’s status as one of the most qualified and well supported clubs in South Wales, offering an inclusive and structured pathway for football development.
Club Chairman Mark Jenkins comments “As a club we continue to be really well supported and I would like to thank everyone involved for continuing to drive standards to allow us to achieve such a high standard in FAW accreditation. As a club we would like to thank everyone for their support and hope that everyone is safe in well at such a difficult and challenging time. We know what an important role football can play at this time and as a footballing family we look forward to seeing everyone back again soon”.
“The club would like to thank all members of the committee who have gone over and above to develop and introduce new policies and processes to meet the platinum standard.”
“Thanks also go to all the club’s coaches for their high coaching standard and to those that have stepped up their coaching level to meet the platinum standard
